Educational Strategist - Mrs. Joy Price

Background
I am the Educational Strategist Resource Teacher for students in grades 3-5, and this is my fifth year at St. Vincent de Paul and my 21st year in education. My experience consists of special education resource, substitute teacher, third grade teacher, resource teacher and part-time tutoring. I received my undergraduate from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 1998 with an elementary education major and a special eduation endorsement. I earned my graduate degree in education from Doane University in 2004.

Class Info
I provide academic support to students in the areas of language arts and math. I work with classroom teachers to identify what interventions are needed for each student. My instructional delivery involves engaging learning activities in the classroom and in a small group setting.
