Mrs. Mary Singh - 5th - 8th Grade Spanish
Background
¡Bienvenidos a la clase de español! Welcome to Spanish class! This is my first year at SVdP and my 25th year teaching Spanish. I earned my BA in Spanish at Humboldt State University. Part of my college education was completed internationally. I spent a year in Oaxaca, México with HSU and one semester in Ecuador through the Vermont School for International Training. I obtained my MA and Bilingual teaching credential at San Francisco State University.
Class Info
If you need to email me, please include your student’s homeroom number! All Spanish classes will build on prior years' experience to improve their proficiency in writing, reading, listening to, and speaking Spanish! We will use songs, art, games, and hands-on activities to learn vocabulary and grammar skills. Students will also learn about the geography of Spanish speaking countries and cultural information. Links to online resources including dictionaries and enrichment activities are posted in the “materiales útiles” (useful materials) section of Google Classroom.
